Monday prayer on Tuesday...

Who do you see when you look in the mirror...unfortunately I think this reflects my self a little to well this past year...I've had a hard time matching my inner appearance with my outer appearance...yes I lay it at my Lords feet every day sometimes minute by minute but I must admit that if I was truly laying it down I wouldn't find my mind and my heart write back in the muck time and time again...so as I come into a new year I'm continuing to lay myself down before my God...and I'm praying that my inner self reflect my God instead of me more everyday....

Yesterday...

Yesterday I got to hang out with one of my favorite peeps...Jen...she is a super busy girl soooo...when she called me with the proposal of hanging out with her to do some running around to catch up I jumped at the opportunity...however I was still in bed on my lap top with two day old hair and a pile of my laundry to do when she called...but she graciously gave me about 30 min...and after I got off the phone and finished on the computer I had about 15 min to get ready...of course I told her 30 min was fine because I knew it would be at least 45 min since she's always running just a little behind...anywho Lord help us all I actually went out with 2 day old hair that looked like a week old...a hole in the arm of my shirt and a hole in my uggs...through some jeans on and a scarf and called it good...Jen wasn't even embarrassed to be seen with me...some days I just have to admit you can take the girl out of the ghetto but you just cant take the ghetto out of the girl...thanks for loving me anyway Jen...I had a great day...ox B

Betty and Lucy the owls...

I just love these little owls...I was feeling a little creative looking at this pile of odds and ends...and here you have it...first I made Betty and then my very dear friend Leslie saw her on my facebook page and wanted one so I thought why not...stared at another pile of odds and ends and got Lucy...this time I put her name on her little booty...hope you like it Les...love ya girlie...Brittani said "it looks just like aunt leslie if she was an owl"...she's so funny...

Leaving my house this morning to take the kids to school...Pulling into colton's school...believe it or not it's just beyond that row of trees...yikes...

Banana Bread at Sarah's

As you can see if you love banana bread Sarah's house is the place to be served...Yummmm! Huge pieces bathed in butter...a hot cup of tea...what a great hostess...we had our weekly a.m. "reach" meeting at Sarah's house and boy where we lucky...great conversation and homemade b-bread to boot...Thank you Sarah!!! Delicious!!!!!!!!

Planning on getting creative this weekend...Oh ya I'm back!!!!!

Way too much fluff...

I've gotten WAY too fluffy...I'm not sure what happened but some how between last year and this I've gained 36 pounds back of the 37 pounds I managed to keep off since we moved here...soooo...I'm starting Weight Watchers today...no I'm not going to the meetings...I'm trying the online thing...I even joined a group on line, we'll see how that goes...that's totally foreign to me but...I'm trying to stay positive...mama's got way to much junk in the trunk...so here I go...wish me luck...

Snow Day....

Hello!!! Did it snow last night or what??? The kids were soooo excited to see the ice everywhere...they are hoping for snow tomorrow...

Yay for Christmas Tree's!!!!

We have had a fake Christmas tree for a couple of years now so we were all pretty excited to get a live tree this year!! It is PERFECT...now we just need to decorate...I'll put on the lights while the kids are at school today and hopefully we will get to decorate it this evening...My kids are driving me crazy not allowing me to take pics of them...however they both gave in some what after I threatened them...
