Darin has been assigned to Hanford West High School as principal...
We have a long history with Hanford West. Starting when we moved here to Hanford back in 2005. It was so very difficult leaving all of our friends and family behind, our history, to essentially start a whole new life. However it was most difficult for Darin to leave the Long Beach Unified School District where he not only worked his entire career with a long list of assignments. Athletic Director, Head Football Coach, Dean of Students, English Teacher, PE Teacher, Wrestling Coach, Girls Softball Coach the list goes on and on... he also had been in the school district from Kindergarten to his Senior year in high school.
When he was offered the job at Hanford West he knew with out a doubt that was where he was supposed to be. Truly a God ordained moment. Through all of the changes in our lives here in Hanford, believe it or not there have been many in this short 7 almost 8 year time span, one thing has stayed constant. Hanford West High School and the relationships we have made there.
We truly appreciate and love our HW family. They have filled in the gap more times than they know. I know all of us (Darin, Me, Brittani and Colton) are so looking forward to serving you with our hearts.
