Man...I can't tell you the feeling I get in the pit of my stomach every time this happens...they haven't dropped her...at a game anyway...Lord keep my baby safe....please....amen

Day 7 Lifeshare it's just begun

This was the last night of Lifeshare...I hope you were able to participate...I love everything that Lifeshare has been about!!! Sharing Jesus Christ with the nation and challenging Christ followers to do the same on our Internet spaces...tonight we shared communion together...I shared communion of our precious Lord with 73 people all over the world and it was amazing...so I challenge you to include our amazing, gracious God on your Internet space...share the hope of this world...even if you think not one person reads your space...it doesn't matter it will make a difference...

God help us to be salt and light to the nations...You are all that matters...amen

Lifeshare...

God is soooooo amazing...I'm so bummed that I didn't get to be apart of the last lifeshare experience but I encourage you to watch the pre-recorded version...wow...they had a worship service that was sooo cool so out of the box...I can not wait until the next lifeshare meeting...it's at 6:00pm on Wednesday the 24th...don't miss it you guys...it's hard to describe you need to experience it first hand...
I don't know if you noticed or not but you can click on the mogulus part of the screen on the video feed on my blog it will click you out to the mogulus web site and it makes it really easy to watch and chat...you should get involved with the chat it is sooo easy...just do it...you'll love it...

She's 14 today!!!

Ok is it just me or doesn't it seem like I was just blogging about Brittani's 13th Birthday!!! My baby girl is 14 TODAY!!! I can not believe it...what is happening...not only that Colton had to start wearing deodorant...what is the world coming to? I'm not ready!!! But here I am...sob

Of course she woke up to a Hollister Bag!! She was supposed to wake up to pancakes too...but...she got a burnt Toaster strudel instead...Sorry honey!

It's also Homecoming tonight!!! Memaw and Papa are coming too!!! Yippee

Isn't it good to know that God is bigger than anything life brings us…and that He knows exactly what we need when we need it…I will be the first to admit that I don’t always understand Gods timing I don’t always understand his way of providing for my needs…but I do know His timing is perfect…His ways are not my ways…He will never leave us or forsake us…He is our provider…I just want to encourage you to remember all God has done for you in your life, all He has brought you through and praise Him...

The Lifeshare experience

Wow...I just experienced lifeshare and it was amazing...It started last evening but I was unable to watch because I had worship rehearsal...it was quite the experience tonight...I love the way God brings his people together...that know matter what...God will do what he has planned to do from the beginning of time...just think all that happened this evening was planned before we were born...God is sooo big...I loved praying with people whom I don't know but have one incredible thing in commen...God...and His purpose...His hand is ever reaching with know end...thank you God for bringing your people together for a common purpose...You...amen

Here I go again!

Well I put my running shoes back on today after months of not running and feeling like a failure...I decided not to own that mantra and get back to it...I got 1 mile in and wow it was difficult but I'm not giving up!!!

Brittani's first game...

The girls did such a great job...the game was in Porterville...which is a 2 hour drive from Hanford...but totally worth it...we couldn't miss her first game!!! To bad we were driving 4 hrs the next day to my moms but...well you only live once right!!

Coffee Talk Book Club Hotties!!!!

Dinner was a blast!!! I love hang'n out with each of you...we missed you Rhonda, Jen, Josie and Beth...can't wait for Oct. 2...You are all beautiful women...

Now that's what I'm talk'n about...I like this hair SO MUCH better...I couldn't stand it...I felt like I was going through an in between stage or something...it just wasn't work'n for me...so...I got the scissors today and went Edward Scissor Hands on my head...and love it!!!

God's Little Blessings...

Sometimes God's blessings come in some strange packages...but blessings non the less...

My Nieces baby shower is this weekend and I ordered some of her gifts on line...I've been waiting with excited anticipation for them to come in the mail...and they did...yesterday...I ordered I cute little dress out fit and A little white cardigan to go with it....

Here is the little dress...isn't it adorable!!! And this is the cardigan...you see my problem...Hmmmm

So of course I called to see what happened...and just a little up set because her shower is Saturday and I know what ever they are able to do for me I will not receive my cute little white cardigan in time...but....after waiting on hold for more than a little minute and listening to quite a nice collection of show tunes...I got the good news...they re-ordered the sweater that was now an additional $20.00 off...credited me for that...and...I get to keep the pillowcase...which I think will make a couple of CUTE eco friendly shopping bags...bonus!!! So like I said God's little blessings come in some strange packages but I'll take um!!!!

Coffee Talk Book Club...

I can not believe we are done with our book Captivating...what a journey huh girls...I'm so proud of the way you allowed God to use this book to bring us closer to the women he has created each of us to be...I love you all...so this Thursday is our celebration dinner and I can't wait!!! No dancing on the tables ladies...

Here is our next book...we wanted to choose something relatively short and light (but great) after our last book and before the holiday break...it's called Unashamed by Francine Rivers...it is the story of Rahab in novel form...this will be the last book we read together until after the holidays...can you believe it??? We will be having the next coffee talk book club meeting on Thurs. October 2nd...schedule and place to come...remember you can always join here on my blog if the limited hours in your days make it hard for you to meet with us in person...or you just don't live around here...we would love to have you join us!!!

The Wedding!!

What a beautiful Wedding!!! My niece was absolutely breath taking...we are so proud of her and now hubby and happy for them...My nephew officiated the wedding...isn't that special...looking at them I was just so proud of my sister and what a great job she has done and is doing raising her family...I love you all!!!

The Drive...

We went to see my family in the L.A. area this weekend...my niece was getting married and of course we wouldn't miss it for the world...with gas prices the way they are we had to take our little, tiny car and it just isn't as comfy and spacious as the Tahoe but we saved $100.00 so comfort smomfort...

see the big building with the flag on it...there is also a big panther to the right...this is The High School Darin graduated from and where he worked for gosh I don't know how long from 1988 as a football coach then a long time as a teacher and a coach until maybe 1998/99ish...any who...when we get to this point in our trip the kids go WILD...it's crazy...I guess they know we are very close to Nana and Papa's house maybe 20 min to go...And of course the beach...I have to go even if it's just to look at it and smell it when we visit...
